Stolen from Topless Robot.

Remember when the Angry Video Game Nerd did a review of the game? Even Spider-Man himself couldn’t beat it.

Chris Houlihan Room

I found the Chris Houlihan Room, this morning!

All of this in only one try! Well, I tried to find it years ago, but I didn’t succeed. My opinion is that the room would be more easy to find if you start by the Sanctuary.

By the way, if you want to try finding the room, here’s a video that may help you:

My Hori controller

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Almost a year ago, I wrote an entry about how I wanted so bad to own a Hori Game Boy Player controller for the GameCube. Well, these controllers would be very hard to find since they have been made mostly for the Japanese customers. In fact, they would rarely show up on eBay and most of the time, the seller would never list them under $50. This device almost became a collectible. Well, a few weeks ago, I successfully found on for around $20. Not only it was a “buy it now” auction, but I was so happy to get one that for the first time I didn’t mind paying insurance fees to get it delivered safely. I finally received it a couple of weeks ago.

Neat, huh?

Well, it was a tad dirty when I received it, but a toothbrush and soapy water did the trick. I had to dismantle the controller and wash all plastic part individually. I had to scrub the buttons very roughly since there was dirt incrusted in the letters and all. Of course, it was after I tested it. There’s nothing much to say about the controller. It’s very basic and has no special features. However, I love using it instead of the regular GameCube controller. I have better control on my actions when I’m playing Game Boy games. That’s great. I feel like I’m playing SNES. I really have nothing else to say. End of line.
