Happy Halloween!

Because I don’t need makeup to look scary…

Bullying at a whole new level!
I’ve bought two new Sega Genesis game, last Sunday.

Well not really pimped, but it’s close. For years, I envied the European and Asian version of the Super Nintendo controller for having sweet colours buttons such as yellow, red, blue and green. Why we, North Americans, have to have our controllers coming with ugly lavender and purple buttons? Did the heads of Nintendo of American really wanted the buttons to match the console design or where they too cheap to produce more colours? It’s not that I hate our beloved SNES controller, but I always wondered why we didn’t get to have colours button like the Europeans has. This idea bugged me for years. Of course, I could order a NTSC-compatible controller with colours buttons, but they were all cheap rip-off version that would work half of the time. I’m still waiting to get a refund for one of them.
My plan was to buy an original Super Famicom controller and switch the buttons to one of mine. As I was about to pay $22 for one of these devices, PeacHy, my favorite English Welsh lad, told me that he have one of his controller was busted and that he would be very to send it to me… For free! What a great guy.
I finally received the controller yesterday and here’s some pictures:

Comparing with the North America version.

Opening the controller to remove the buttons. Eww! PeacHy, where did you kept it all these years? Well, a little cleaning with an old toothbrush and soapy water did the trick.

About to switch the buttons…

Here’s my “new” controller. I’m super happy!
Well, PeacHy’s controller won’t be lost, since I’m gonna use to back of the case to fix one of my mine to which my asshole of a cousin walked on it and broke the case. Of course it “wasn’t his fault” so his parents would never replace it. He once walked on his GameBoy Advance and broke the screen, but it wasn’t his fault either. A ghost that left the handheld on the floor was to blame. Somebody calls Ghostbusters, quick! End of line.
I haven’t posted anything serious for like a month… Please, forgive my lazy ass and me for not updating thing blog more often. Lately, I’ve been having trouble with my Internet connexion; it would go out like every two minutes. As I was about to blame my cable company, I found out that the problem was due to my aging modem. This device is now 8 years old and I guess that it would definitely die very soon. Anyway, my cable company was nice enough to lend me a spare modem till they order one to replace my antique modem. I couldn’t believe this thing actually last 8 years.
On another subject, I recently bought a DVD of Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. Since the movie was already hard to find in my area, imagine trying to find DVDs of the TV series.

Well, that would be all for now. If you visit the Features section, you’ll see that I uploaded a dozens of new avatars. I love making avatars, but it seems that I’m often running out of inspiration. So, if anyone has ideas for creating avatars, just let me know. End of line.
