Paul Reubens is The Dark Mite

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Paul Reubens is voicing Bat-Mite in this week episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which is a show that I’m always missing because my stupid cable company is running the Teletoon‘s western channel instead of the eastern one. So, I end up having a 3 hours time difference and that suck when my favorite show should be airing at 10:00 PM and not 1:00 AM, because at this hour I have other things to do such as sleeping! Of course, I should get a decoder that have a recording feature, but this damn thing cost $500. Anyway, I can console myself by watching videos featured at BATMAN ON FILM. I don’t know why, but Paul Reubens makes me love him more and more as each day passes.

Josy’s lasers!

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Do any of you remember the lasers background from school photo day? Unfortunately, I’ve never had the opportunity to have my picture taken in front of a lasers background, but my older sister did! As I was browsing through old family pictures, I found this:

This is my sister Josy when she was in 2nd grade, which was in 1989, I think. It was two years before I started pre-school. After debating a little with my sister, she finally allowed me to post her picture on my blog. However, she doesn’t know that I’m also going to submit it to the We Have Lasers! blog. Josy, if you’re reading this, don’t be angry, because if I my own lasers picture I would have submitted it along yours. You’re my big sister and I love you. By the way, you were soooo cute in that blue dress and I like your little mischievous face! Lasers rocks!

Nice ears, Donatello!

Last night I dreamed that Matt and I were playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors on the SNES. That wouldn’t be a bad idea since I always wanted to play the game in a two players mode. Beside, it’s an awesome game!

Star Trek!

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

I am back from seeing Star Trek… and it was fucking awesome! Even my dad liked it. He even said that it looked pretty much like HIS Star Trek. I couldn’t find any big flaws in that movie. You know, I’m not a critic and I’ll write this from a Trekkie’s perspective. It is probably the best (Star Trek) movie I’ve ever seen in my life! The storyline: Great! The special effects: Great! The action: Great! The actors: Great! Zachary Quinto is so great as Spock that he made me completely forget about Sylar. Chris Pine made a great James T. Kirk, not too Shatnerish! Simon Pegg did a little bit too much on the Scottish accent, but he was still good as Scotty. The others guys were great too. If you guy still have concerns about this movie, then you are just a bunch of assholes. Okay, you may not be assholes, but it would still be stupid to compare this film to the old Trek. This is kind of a new Star Trek and, as my dad said, it has the same spirit as the old one. The old and the new Trek could be considerate as two different universe, like DC Comics and the Earth-Two universe. You can’t remake Star Trek, but you can re-invent it. Well, I don’t have anything to say except that this movie kick Vulcan ass. According to me, you’ll be an idiot if you still don’t want to see this movie. Amelyn out!

Beware of the Blog!

Atomic Brain has a brand new design. Just looking at it makes me want to watch some low budget B-movies. I always wanted to use a warp text effect in design and I finally did it! I like how the header image comes out. Speaking of it, does anybody knows who the woman in the picture.

The Retroist and I did our best to identify her, but it was useless. Therefore, if some of you know who she may be, I’ll love you! Just kidding!
