Check out this nice Joker picture done by DeviantArt member ~dcjosh. Also, don’t forget to check his other works. That guy got talent. End of line.

Today is the 72th birthday of Manga creator and personnal hero, Leiji Matsumoto.
He created such great series as Galaxy Express 999, Queen Emeraldas and my favorite, Space Pirate Captain Harlock.

If you read this Matsumoto-san, I only have one thing to say: Otanjoubi omedetou!

As I decided that I should buy more Marvel issues, I’ve learned what I’ve considered as a very shocking news: Disney bought Marvel! My first reaction has been one of the following: “What the f***? The Universe is about to collapse and my insurance company don’t cover the Apocalypse (and I’m not talking about the mutant villain)! What will happen? Are they gonna make Jonas Brothers meet Spider-Man comics? Will Deadpool team up with Goofy? Seriously, what will become of Marvel?”
Then my mom, who knows hell about comic books, but is a big (old school) Disney fan, said something quite smart: “They probably bought Marvel under certain conditions and if they don’t respect these conditions they may end up losing more money than they invested.” My mom can really surprise me sometimes. She’s kinda right you know. In fact, these so-feared changes might not affect the Marvel universe as we know it. As I seemed to understand from this article, the main changes are that Disney will have all the right over the movies adaptations once all the actual deal with others companies expire, also that they would be more Marvel-related shows on the Disney Channel and some other things. However, it also states that Marvel will remain responsible for deciding where the publisher’s characters will show up in the Disney world and all.
Finally, before screaming on rooftops that Disney will ruin Marvel, why don’t we just wait and see what would happen? After all, it is still too soon to start mourning Marvel. Maybe this deal with bring great opportunities to the company. Unless some of you are psychics, we still don’t know what the future will bring to Marvel. I think I made my point here! End of line.
Let’s write an entry about comic books!!
Savage Dragon/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, published in September 1993. After defeating a giant living gargoyle, Savage Dragon must team with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to stop some witch from destroying the world, I guess.
I must not say that it was a great comic, but I enjoyed reading. I’ve been a big fan of the TMNT since I was five years old. Of course, I had to go beyond the cartoon and buy every TMNT comic books I could find. As for Savage Dragon, I’ve never had the opportunity to read the comics and I barely remember watching a couple of episodes from the cartoon. But reading this comic crossover made me want to get a trade paperback book of Savage Dragon. This will be something that I’ll need to order at my local comic book shop. Well, here’s one of my favorite panel from the comic:

Next time, I’ll cover… another comic book!
The flu is almost gone, now. Sorry for my lack of updates, here’s a video:
